Terms of service
Last updated 17 July 2026. These terms are written for collectors using Avid TCG Data to browse prices, manage collections, use scanner tools, subscribe to Pro, and take part in community features.

Please read these terms before using Avid TCG Data. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. If you have questions, contact us from the contact page.

1. Who we are

Avid TCG Data is a trading card data, collection, market research, profile, scanner, alert, and affiliate tool. These terms explain the rules for using the website, account features, subscriptions, community tools, and any related services we provide.

When these terms say Avid TCG Data, we, us, or our, they mean the Avid TCG Data service. When they say you, they mean the person using the service or the account holder.

2. Using the service

You may use public catalogue, set, card, sealed product, pricing, and profile pages as a visitor. Signed-in tools require a verified email address, and some advanced features also require Avid Pro, moderator access, or admin access.

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the website in a way that harms performance, upload harmful content, attack other users, impersonate someone else, or use the platform for unlawful activity.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for anything that happens through your account. Use accurate information, keep your login details private, and tell us if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

We require email verification before reports, alerts, profile tools, affiliate tools, collection tools, scanner access, or other signed-in features can be used. We may suspend or ban accounts when needed to protect users, the service, or the community.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Avid Pro unlocks paid features such as deeper AI insights, saved alert tools, advanced collection tools, and higher scanner limits. The exact features may change as the product develops, but we will not intentionally remove core paid access without good reason.

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as card payment processors and PayPal. They process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices. We store subscription status and provider identifiers needed to run your account, but we do not store full card numbers.

You can cancel a recurring subscription from the account or billing flow where available. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund time already paid for.

5. Refunds, cancellations, and payment problems

If a payment fails, is refunded, reversed, charged back, or marked as fraudulent, we may pause or remove paid access linked to that payment. We may also adjust affiliate commission connected to that payment.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us so we can look into it. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer rights that apply by law.

6. Market data, AI forecasts, and alerts

Prices, charts, market history, marketplace signals, price refreshes, scanner output, grading scenarios, liquidity signals, AI forecasts, and market intelligence are for general information only. They are not financial advice, investment advice, or a promise that any card or product will sell for a certain price.

Market data can be incomplete, delayed, duplicated by source data, estimated, manually corrected, or unavailable. You should always check live marketplace listings and make your own decision before buying, selling, grading, trading, or pricing anything.

Alerts are convenience tools. We try to send them when relevant data is available, but we do not guarantee delivery, timing, accuracy, or availability.

7. Collection, profile, and community features

You control whether your profile, binders, collection items, wants, trades, and public forecast settings are public or private where the feature provides that control. If you make something public, visitors and other users may be able to see it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of collection entries, prices paid, notes, locations, trade listings, profile text, avatar images, banner images, and messages you submit. Do not post personal details, private addresses, misleading trade offers, abusive content, or anything you do not have permission to share.

Collector network and trade features are community tools. We do not guarantee trades, in-person meetings, user identity, item condition, or payment between users. Meet safely, use common sense, and do not share sensitive personal information.

8. Scanner and uploaded content

Scanner features may process images, camera input, OCR output, and recognition results to identify cards or help you add items. Recognition may be wrong, especially with glare, damaged cards, unusual languages, promos, or poor image quality.

Only upload images or content that you have the right to use. We may remove content that is illegal, unsafe, infringing, abusive, or harmful to the service.

9. Missing item reports and catalogue corrections

Missing card, sealed product, and data correction reports help improve the catalogue. Submitting a report does not guarantee that an item will be added, edited, or resolved.

If we mark a report as resolved, we may notify the reporting account by email and include a link to the relevant page where possible.

10. Affiliate links and affiliate programme

Some outbound marketplace links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases without changing the price you pay.

If you join the affiliate programme, the affiliate terms also apply. Affiliate codes, campaign links, referral cookies, discounts, commission holds, payout thresholds, refunds, chargebacks, self-referrals, spam rules, and account reviews are handled under the affiliate terms.

11. Third-party services and links

The service may link to or integrate with third-party services such as marketplaces, payment providers, analytics tools, email providers, anti-spam tools, hosting providers, and OAuth providers. We are not responsible for third-party websites, listings, prices, policies, availability, or actions.

Marketplace names, grading company names, game names, card images, set logos, product images, and other brand materials belong to their respective owners.

12. Intellectual property

Avid TCG Data owns or licenses the website design, original copy, tools, code, databases we create, layout, branding, and service features. You may not copy, resell, clone, or commercially exploit the service without permission.

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give us permission to host, display, process, adapt, and use that content as needed to provide the service, show public features you enable, operate moderation, and improve the catalogue.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Avid TCG Data available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, deployments, provider outages, rate limits, data-source problems, security events, or bugs may affect availability.

We may change, add, remove, pause, or rename features as the product develops. We may also update these terms. The latest version will be posted on this page.

14. Liability

The service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that data, forecasts, alerts, scanner results, user profiles, third-party links, or community features will be accurate, complete, secure, or suitable for your purpose.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Avid TCG Data is not responsible for trading losses, missed sales, incorrect valuations, grading decisions, marketplace disputes, community trade issues, lost profits, indirect loss, or third-party actions connected to your use of the service.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless consumer protection rules in your country require something different.
